INGSPIRATIONS – Purposeful Living for Busy Parents

Hello! I’m Ing. I started Ingspirations in 2012 as a personal parenting blog and a creative outlet for me as a busy mother of 3.

Juggling work, 3 kids, household and other responsibilities, life is hectic and at times, insane.

In the midst of all the busyness, writing helps me reflect on my life and refocus on what really matters: living life with purpose and being mindful to embrace the fleeting moments of life.

Living in fast-paced Singapore means that hurrying is the norm, competition is a way of life and survival is of top priority.

That is not how I want to live my life. Nor how I want to raise my kids.

Life is for living, not for hurrying through.

Childhood is fleeting, it should not be consumed by academic pursuits only.

The three main areas I write about here are:

  • FAMILY – mindful parenting, meaningful activities to do with kids
  • PRODUCTIVITY – simplifying tasks in the home and at work
  • WELLNESS – taking care of yourself so you can focus on and take care of others

Check out the MENU at the top for a glimpse of the topics I write about in this blog.

Ending off with one of my favourite quotes,

“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.”

~ Oscar Wilde

May we as busy parents not merely exist and rush through life, but live it to the fullest, for ourselves and our family.
